Hi Clarissa! I have just come across your Substack. I really enjoyed reading about your reflections. I feel you because I write a lot about Turkish food from the US. My husband is Turkish and we talk about moving there for a period, but our lives (and my family) are more rooted here. Thank you for sharing a bit about this journey you’re on.

Your soy sauce sounds really great. I live in Queens and from your store locator, I can see it’s not sold around here…I will have to look for it whenever I venture out to Brooklyn or Manhattan!

Your Substack live with Andrea yesterday was great! I hope we can get your products in stores here in NJ! There’s a local Korean/Asian market nearby that I think might be interested. (Kasia) Going to tell them they need to stock Heydoh! (Lots of Asians and non-Asians shop there).

Oh awesome! 👏🏻 I just messaged Kasia and will speak to them when I am there too. It’s hard to find a good, clean Black soybean Taiwanese soy sauce here. Mitsuwa (Japanese markets) might want it too. And supporting small business is essential!
