Congrats on the baby!! I’m so excited for the book to come out. The recipes in this book were so easy to make and nourishing, perfect for postpartum. It was such perfect timing having been a tester on this book during my own postpartum.

Congrats!! Ok this is a naive question but is it ok for ppl not in post partum to eat the soups? Or is it too much hot qi? My mom used to make a chicken soup with dried ginseng (or maybe Angelica?) and dried dates and goji berries that I really miss and was wondering if the soups in the book would evoke that flavor. I had a similar tasting soup at a Malaysian restaurant a couple years ago and they called it 肉骨茶.
